Slept at 6AM, woke at 11AM with a wake-up call service from Cheri. Because I forgot she offered to call me, I was quite reluctant to find my phone. Anyways, if you are wondering why I slept at 6AM, there was a match between Arsenal and Blackburn at 4AM.
I need a miracle in my life.
Today had mass dance session again, but there were many issues that were pretty problematic. Not enough pairs on stage was a issue, so had to find some last minute couples. Anwar and Celisse were paired, Faizal and Hayati were another. Though I didn’t see it myself, remarks told me that they did so steps wrongly. My gratitude is far more than putting the blame on them, since they were willing to contribute at this very last minute and learn those learns barely 15 minutes before the session started. I really thank them.
Cheri, I don’t know what to say but I kinda feel bad. She’s sick and held on to the mic for an hour. I couldn’t do her job because she is simply so much better at it, and I will screw up if I offered help to. Then I begin to wonder how Yufeng and Evans managed to work together so well. Communication, I then realized, is so important.
Then on-stage, there were obviously some things that screwed up. 1st was the lack of time, due to an unexpected talk by Mr. Choo. So we killed one song in the schedule to accommodate. 2nd was the pace of teaching, as I kept reminding Cheri to teach slower. I know she is trying to keep things within the time-frame but many just can’t catch up with the pace. And when I was called to the side by Elaine for the change in schedule, there was a little drama on-stage where I chased TK offstage. It’s kinda funny when I look back at it, since it was a quick improvisation to keep the crowd going.
Mr Chin commended us for doing a good job for 1st time but I still somehow understand that it is just not enough. Keep improving~!
